First, let me tell you how pleased we are with both lamps. In fact, the
larger chandelier is breathtaking!
The shipping couldn't have been better. As it turns out, the terminal was
less than a mile from my home so I picked up the lamp because a big truck
would have trouble getting to us. It was easy to see the care that had been
taken in the packing. I will recycle most of the shipping materials, wood,
screws, etc. The actual installation took only a few minutes. I had a $6
home depot light in the space previously, waiting for the perfect lamp.... so
it took time to prepare the beam for the extra weight. I only had one wire
going up there so both circuits are on a single switch until I fish another
wire.
The lamp is installed in the center hall/stairwell of our home, which is an
old camp on the Mohawk River that we've spent the last ten years finishing.
Surrounding your lamp are the lamps of many other fine artists of the last 200
years, you see I collect shell lamps. These photos do not show all my shells
because I took them down to clean them, etc. while I was installing your
lamp.
Thank you again for the beautiful lamps. I will forward more photos later,
when the whole collection is assembled.
Nick
